Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is a beer festival of two weeks, which is held every year at the Theresienwiese plaza, in Munich, Germany. Oktoberfest usually takes place from late September to the first weekend in October. Oktoberfest is one of the city's most famous festivals, and in 2002, 6 million people took part in this jolly party.

From Germany this cheerful early autumn celebration has spread to other parts of the world, and in Finland, for example, many pubs and restaurants organize their own events at the time in the spirit of Oktoberfest. But Oktoberfest is also a great theme of the home celebrations with friends and even the whole family, people of all ages like to eat sausages. If the weather permits, the Oktoberfest can be arranged also at a summer place, grilled sausages for dinner!
